Auction

How do I bid on the auction?
After signing up with Japamart, please send us a deposit. Then, you can easily bid on the auction by yourself in real time using our system.
Can I raise my bid price?
Yes, you can. Please simply enter the new price and make a bid as normal.
What types of payment do you accept?
Please refer to our Auction page.
Do you combine the bank fee and shipping in Japan if I win multiple items from the same seller?
Yes, we will combine them if you win multiple auctions from the same seller on the same day.
How do I know if I win?
We will inform you via e-mail. Also, you can check the item you won in the Won section.
How do I know if I am the high bidder?
Please view the bidding item page. If you are the high bidder, the status of the auction says "High bidder".
Do you notice me if I have been outbid by somebody?
Yes, we will send you an e-mail. However, we recommend you to directly check the auction page in the last moment because e-mails cannot necessarily reach you quickly.
Can I buy out an item which has a "Buy it Now" option?
Yes, please simply bid the price as normal. You can buy out the auction.
Can you ask the seller to ship to me directly?
Yes, please check the list of prohibited items. Please note that we cannot send you this kind of items.
What if another Japamart member has already bid on the item which I want?
Please bid on the item as normal. You can know if you outbid him/her in the bidding item section. Please also read the internal bid fee section.
I have a question to the seller, What should I do?
Please send us your question, We will ask the seller on your behalf and get back to you.

What types of payment do you accept?

Can you order items which are not online?
We are afraid that we can only handle items from online shops basically
I just want to use the shopping service. In that case, do I have to send you a deposit in advance?
No, you do not have to send a deposit if you just intend to use our shopping service. The deposit is required for our auction service.
Do you ask the seller to ship the item to me directly?
Sorry, but we do not ask the seller to directly ship to you.


Forwarding

How do I use this service?
Please let us know using the form after you order an item. Please note that you need to set the address of our warehouse as your shpping address ahead of your order.
Is it OK if I have an item sent C.O.D(cash on delivery)?
No, we do not receive an item if it is sent C.O.D. If it is the only option to purchase the item, please use our shopping service instead.
Are there any prohibited goods?
Yes, please check the list of prohibited items. Please note that we cannot send you this kind of items.
I just want to use the forwarding service. In that case, do I have to send you a deposit in advance?
No, you do not have to send a deposit if you just intend to use our forwarding service. The deposit is required for our auction service.
Is it possible to combine items which I bought through your forwarding service with other items?
Yes, we can do that free of charge unless it exceeds the size/weight limit of Japan Post.



Shipping

What types of insured shipping methods can I select?

Please go to your local post office and file a claim for compensation as soon as possible. However, you cannot get a reimbursement in the following cases.

1.You chose an uninsured shipping method.
2. The damage did not occur in transit.
